Michael Paul Lee, age 41, passed away on Aug. 1, 2022 at his home in Macksville, KS. He was born on Mar. 25, 1981 in Gordon, NE, and was a resident of Macksvlle since 2007. Michael worked for the city of Macksville as a maintenance worker and part time police officer. He graduated from Larned High School in 2000 and was a member of the Macksville Christian Church, Oddfellows Lodge #539 and the Macksville volunteer fire department. Survivors include three sons, William “Billy” A. Lee, Hutchinson, KS, James D. Lee, Macksville, KS, Devin W. McMurphy, Macksville, KS; a brother, Kenneth Lee, El Dorado, KS; two sisters, Jessica Lee, Safford, AZ, Sonnie Jo Wilds, Glendale, AZ; his mother, Wanita Lee Wilds, Glendale, AZ.
A memorial graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022 in the Farmington Cemetery, Macksville, KS., with Pastor Jacob Russell presiding. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to the “Lee Family Fund” at Equity Bank, Macksville. Contributions to this fund may also be mailed in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O.
