Jeanne Fisher, age 96, passed away on Mar. 16, 2021 at the Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, KS.  She was born on Aug. 1, 1924 in rural St. John, KS, the daughter of Harvey D. and Lucy (Crissman) Kachelman.  Jeanne was a retired Registered Nurse and Farmer, receiving her nursing degree from Wichita State University. On Aug. 9, 1948, she married Donald B. Fisher in the Eden Valley Church parsonage, St. John, KS.  Most of Jeanne’s life was spent farming and ranching with her late husband Donald B. Fisher.  She belonged to the Town and Country Mother’s Club.  Survivors include two sons, Craig D. (Donita) Fisher, St. John, KS, Gregory D. (Linda) Fisher, St. John, KS; a sister, Jerene Gill, Oklahoma City, OK; 5 grandchildren, Chad (Misty) Fisher, St. John, KS, Vance (Sara) Fisher, St. John, KS, Max (Kate) Fisher, McLean, VA, Staci (Todd), Willems, Hutchinson, KS, Grant Fisher, St. John, KS; 9 great grandchildren, Ashlyn Fisher, Torre Fisher, Chase Fisher, Trey Fisher, Heidi Fisher, Cole Fisher, Corinne Fisher, Catherine Fisher, Caroline Fisher. She was preceded in death by her husband Don and grandson, Jeremy Fisher.  Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021 from 1-7pm at Minnis Chapel, with family present from 5-7pm.  Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, Mar. 20, 2021 at Minnis Chapel, St. John, KS, with Rodney K. Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, KS.  Memorials may be given to the St. John Jubilee Fund or the USD-350 Education Foundation in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS  67576.
