Warren Clay Thornburg, age 58, passed away on July 27, 2020 at Hudson. He was born on March 6, 1962 at Stafford. A lifetime resident of Hudson, he worked for the Stafford County Flour Mill in the Warehouse loading trucks. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn I. (Ivy) Thornburg, Stafford, KS., a sister, Joy Monroe, Wichita, Falls, TX; three brothers, Carl O. Hicks (Abbe), Salina, KS, Audie L. Thornburg (Bonnie), Eureka, KS, Timothy R. Thornburg (Deb), Billings, MT, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Bud Thornburg and a brother Alan Brent Thornburg. Memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2020 at Minnis Chapel, St. John with Pastor John McKeel presiding with Mike Munz reading the Eulogy. A private family inurnment will take place at Trinity Cemetery, Hudson. Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or donors choice in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O.
