Vada L. Whiting

Vada Lenora (Webb) Whiting, 97 passed away in Leawood, Kansas on March 6, 2023. Strongly embraced in the arms of her Lord and Savior while singing “Jesus Loves Me”, with her hospice angel, Angela and grandkids, she left this world. Born on November 6, 1925 in Pratt, Kansas she was the daughter of Walter Samuel and Clara Bella Lee Webb. She married Frank Bezemek in 1943 and is preceded in death by their 2 children, Lora Lucille Bezemek (Snyder) Rockett and Frank Bezemek. While working in retail, she met and married the love of her life, Carl J. Whiting in 1973.  Both children of the Lord, they loved farming the land while spending time with family, friends and their cherished grandkids. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Survivors include granddaughter, Stacey Lyne (Snyder) Jones; grandson Rodney Gerald Rockett; great granddaughter Megan Rockett; and great grandsons Zack Rockett & Christopher Barrett Jones.  Bring cherished memories, loving hearts and join us at Leesburg Cemetery to celebrate a life well lived on May 21st at 3pm.
