Tana Goertz

Tana M. Goertz, age 69, passed away on Sept. 18, 2017 at Via Christi Saint Francis, Wichita.  She was born on Jan. 24, 1948 at Sterling, KS, the daughter of Charles T. and Mildred L. (LaMay) Tunnell-Campbell.  Tana was a resident of Hutchinson since 1997 and an ACT testing Coordinator for Hutchinson Community College.  She received an Associate degree from Hutchinson Community College in 1996 and a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics at Friends University. In 1991, she married Larry D. Goertz at Macksville, KS, he survives.  Other survivors include two sons, Evan Fisher, Boseman, MT, Blain Fisher (Chariti), Fort Collins, CO; a daughter, Jill Bruner (Matt), Park City, KS; a step-daughter, Julie Goertz, Great Bend, KS;  a sister, Cinda Unruh (Bill), Salina, KS; ten grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by both parents and a sister, Edra Bollig.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 at the Macksville Christian Church with Pastor Jacob Russell presiding.  Burial will follow in the Farmington cemetery, Macksville, KS.  Visitation will be on Friday from 1-7PM at the funeral home in Macksville.  Memorials may be given to the Tana Goertz Scholarship Fund at Hutchinson Community College in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O.
