Susan Elaine Davies, age 70, passed away June 3, 2018 at Pratt Health and Rehabilitation, Pratt, KS.  She was born on Oct. 27, 1947 at Manhattan, KS, the daughter of Monte Charles and Ailene (Teegarden) Clark.  Susan was a Machinist for Cessna Company and her passion was raising and showing Siberian Husky dogs. She was a member of the Hutchinson Kennel Club and the Reno County Humane Society. Survivors include her son Jeb Burress, Augusta, KS; two sisters, Deborah Lambert (Ron), Lake City, KS, Kim Hixson, Pratt, KS; mother, Ailene Clark, Pratt, KS; and a grandchild, Justin Burress. She was preceded in death by her father, Monte Charles Clark, husband Michael G. Davies and a grandchild, Devin Burress.  Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 8, 2018 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 1201 E. 23rd Ave., Hutchinson with Pastor Roy Jaye presiding.  Visitation will be that same day from 12:30 PM until service time at the church.  Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS.  Memorials may be given to the Susan E. Davies Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS  67576.
