Stephen Edward Mayhew

Stephen Edward Mayhew, age 79, passed away on July 8, 2023, Wichita, KS .  He was born on Aug. 24, 1943 at Larned, KS., the son of Donald B. and Betty E. (Muir) Mayhew.  He was a retired natural gas salesman for ONEOK Gas Co. He was a member of the Trousdale Community Church. Stephen is survived by two daughters, Sandra (David) Fankhauser, Sterling, KS., Taryn Mayhew, Colwich, KS; two sisters, Janice Westphal, Galva, KS., Becky (Marc) Lyman, Hutchinson, KS; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Todd Mayhew and a brother-in-law, Dennis Westphal.   Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Trousdale Community Church, Trousdale, KS., with Pastor Teresa Wynn officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Belpre Cemetery, Belpre, KS.  Memorials may be given to Trousdale Community Church or Lewy Body Dementia Association in care of Minnis Chapel, P. O. Box 34, St. John, KS  67576.
