Shirley Ann (Mawhirter) Aumiller, age 78 passed away May 19, 2017 at Hutchinson Hospice, Hutchinson, KS. She was born on July 1, 1938 in Stafford, KS., the daughter of Kenneth H. and Ardena Florence (Eidson) Mawhirter. Shirley was a licensed CMA, graduate of Hudson High School in 1957 and a resident of Great Bend, since 1981. On May 6, 1962 she married Lynn Leon Aumiller, Sr., at Radium, KS., he survives. Other survivors include 4 sons, Allen Aumiller, St. John, KS., Kenneth Aumiller (Tina), Hope, KS., Lynn Aumiller, JR., Great Bend, KS., Clarence Aumiller (Mary), Hope, KS; 4 sisters, Judy Tanner (Harold), St. John, KS, Janice Willinger, Hudson, KS, Deanna Porter (Buford), Hutchinson, KS, Leanna Lutz (Eugene), St. John, KS; 3 brothers, Terry Mawhirter (Karen), St. John, KS, Brent Mawhirter (Sherre) Stafford, KS, Randall Mawhirter (Val), Cimarron, KS; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents, two daughters, Lisa Lyne Gable and Brenda Breeden. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Wed., May 24, 2017 at Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, with Pastor Wade Russell presiding. Visitation will be from 9 AM until 10:30 AM that same day at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS 67576.
