Rose Marie Hager

 

Rose Marie (Fuqua) Hager, age 86, passed away on June 13, 2023 at the Stafford County Hospital.  She was born on June 10, 1937 in Macksville, the daughter of William A. and Lennie I. (Hazelton) Fuqua.  She was a retired clerk for the Stafford County Treasurer’s office for many years.  She married Joseph Leo Fox and to this union Doug and Julie were born. On Nov. 23, 1994 she married J.D. Hager, Jr. at St. John, he passed away on Feb. 24, 2022.  She is survived by a daughter, Julie Good, St. John, KS; a son, Doug Fox (Evette), Ponchatoula, LA; 5 grandchildren, Gabriella Abbott (Chris), Victoria Fox, Amanda Moore, Machelle Nations (Ricky), Matthew Good (Jessica); 8 great grandchildren, T.J. and Josh Moore, Kyle, Alivia and Jackson Nations, Braydon, Austin and Emberly Good.  Visitation will be on Sunday, June 18th from 1-7 PM at Minnis Chapel, St. John.  Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, June 19th at Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, KS, with Rev. Gene Fox presiding.  Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS  67576.
