Robert “Bob” Earl Standish, age 70 passed away at his rural Stafford County home on October 13, 2020. He was born on April 17, 1950 at Great Bend, KS the son of Leo and Ina (Crotinger) Standish. Bob was a farmer and life-long resident of Stafford County. He loved farming and enjoyed working on a farm that has been in his family for over a hundred and three years. He was a successful cattleman and farmer, who loved growing crops and raising cattle and horses. He attended Kansas State University, served on the Radium CO-OP board, Macksville School Board. He is survived by his son Allen Standish, rural Stafford County, two grandchildren Drew and Kenley Standish, a sister Judy Gibson, Tulsa, OK; two nieces, Lisa Standlee and Laurie VanDyke, one nephew Casey Gibson, two great-nieces, five great-nephews, his Aunt Pat Piland, Great Bend, Ks, and numerous cousins. Visitation will be on Friday October 16, 2020 from 1-7p.m. at Minnis Chapel, St. John Kansas with family present from 5-7 p.m. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020, at the Larned Cemetery, Larned, KS with Pastor Wade Russell presiding.
