Rebecca Hunley

Rebecca Jo (Shoop) Hunley , 61, died June 5, 2014. She was born March 8,1953 in St. John, KS to Homer and Helen (Heter) Shoop.
She married Rick Hunley on March 8, 1973 in Hudson, KS. He survives of the home. Other survivors include: two daughters , Hannah Smith (Jerrod) and Frances Lyons (Josh); two sons , Reed Hunley and Gates Hunley (Marlena); two sisters , Jean Hixson (Larry) and Karen Nelson (Larry); one brother , Don Shoop (Holly); and five gradsons , Brayden, Carson, and Dillan Smith and Maddox and Gabe Lyons.
She was an active member of Antrim United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi sorority chapter Xi Zeta Eta, and United Methodist Women. Previously, she was the Stafford County 4-H Horse Leader, a member of Martha Rebekah's, and a project leader within the Antrim Streamliners 4-H Club. She worked for the Ida Long Goodman Memorial Library and most recently as a Para educator at SCK-SEC.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 1-7pm with family receiving friends from 5-7pm at Minnis Chapel in St. John. Funeral will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Antrim United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Rose Valley Cemetery, rural St. John.
