Nedra June Sizemore, age 90, passed away on Nov. 28, 2015 at Wichita. She was born on July 7, 1925 at St. John, KS, the daughter of James E. and Goldie R. (Pound) Blazer. A life-long resident of St. John, she was a cook for St. John Dist. Hospital as well as other private cooking jobs in her community. She was a former telephone operator in Arlington, KS and proudly made Bierocks for the South Branch patrons for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by both spouses, Jarvis H. Saulnier and Lawrence E. Sizemore as well as a son, Michael L. Sizemore. Survivors include a son, David L. Sizemore, St. John, KS; three daughters, Pati J. Waters-Risley (Richard), St. John, KS, Pamela J. Saueressig (Dallas), Burlington, KS, Penny J. Rhodes, Great Bend, KS; four brothers, Roger and Jim, Natoma, KS, John and Steve, Oak Grove, AR; two sisters, Jean Blazer, Natoma, KS, Ellen New, Jacksonville, TX; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11:00AM on Wed., Dec. 2, 2015 at Minnis Chapel, St. John with Jacci Standlee presiding. Burial will follow in the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1-7PM with family present from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
