Michael Sayler

Michael Eugene Sayler, age 61, passed away Apr. 14, 2017 at Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt, KS.  He was born on Mar. 1, 1956 at St. John, the son of Adrian G. and Mary Elaine (Burkholder) Sayler.  A life-long resident of St. John, he was a Carpenter and veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1979-82.  He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Stafford, KS.  On Oct. 4, 2008 he married Joni D. (Osenbaugh) at St. John, she survives of the home.  Other survivors include his father Adrian, St. John, KS; two sons, Aaron Sayler, Norton, KS, Adam Sayler (Bailey), St. John, KS; a brother , Mark Sayler (Tina), Hutchinson, KS; three sisters, Linn Aligo (Gerard), Tonganoxie, KS, Laurie Gales (Jake), Belpre, KS, Barb Sayler-Lancaster (Mark), Lancaster, OH; three step-sons, Steven Sheets (Dottie), St. John, KS, Darren Sheets (Harley), St. John, KS, Michael Gilbert, St. John, KS.  He was preceded in death by his mother Elaine and a grandson, Michael.  Private family burial has taken place in the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John.  A celebration of life service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Calvary Baptist Church, Stafford, KS.  Memorials may be given as a love gift to the family for expenses. Minnis Chapel, St. John is in charge of local arrangements.
