Mark Anthony Bryant

Mark Anthony Bryant, 60, passed away October 30, 2026 at his home, St. John, KS. He was born March 7, 1966 in Torrance, California, the son of Luther and Sarah (Juarez) Bryant. He was a Special Education Paraprofessional at USD 350, St. John, worked at the Ida Long Goodman Memorial Library, and was the Director of the St. John Homecoming Hall Museum.

Mark was a US Marine veteran. He was of the catholic faith.

He is survived by a daughter Christine Rios, California; a sister Robin Polk, Chetopa, KS; a nephew Russel Heapes, Neodesha, KS; and a niece Jennifer Forquer, Pittsburg, KS, and his faithful companions Chewie and Gwen.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2026 at Minnis Chapel 526 E. 4th, St. John, KS with Pastor Ray Davidson officiating. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the City of St. John (to benefit the dog pound) in care of Minnis Chapel PO Box 34, St. John, KS 67576.
