Lynn Aumiller, Sr.

Lynn Leon Aumiller, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home on July 24, 2021. He was born in Hoxie, KS on March 30, 1940 to Calvin and Bessie Aumiller. Lynn graduated in 1958 from Radium High School. He married Shirley Mawhirter on May 6, 1962. She preceded him in death on May 19, 2017. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Elks Lodge in Great Bend. Survivors include sons, Allen, Kenny, and Clarence Aumiller; sister, Elaine (Gary) Fischer; brothers, Gary, and Karl Aumiller; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley; son, Lynn Jr.; daughters, Brenda, and Lisa; brother, DeVere Aumiller; and grandson Johnathan Lee Hopkins. Visitation will be from 1-7 Thursday, July 29 at Minnis Chapel, St. John, KS with family present from 5-7. Graveside service will be 10:00am Friday, July 30th at Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, KS.
