Lillian Fred

Lillian Belle Fred , age 99, died Sept. 2, 2014 at Pratt Regional Medical Center. She was born July 3, 1915 at Beaver County, OK, the daughter of Hugh N. and Lynnia Belle (Tooker) Robinson. A resident of Macksville since 1936, she graduated from Liberal High School in 1933 and was former owner/operator of Fred’s Grocery for 22 years and W.S Fred and Son Wegele Scooter Mower from 1951-72. She was a member of the Macksville Christian Church, CWF, OES, past Worthy Matron, 50year member of Rebekah’s Lodge, past Noble Grand, FCRV Camper Club, 35 year charter member of Golden Belt Campers Club and hosted 20+years of Musical Jam Sessions in her garage.
Survivors include several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Macksville Christian Church with Pastors Jesse Watts and Carey Haner presiding. Burial will follow in the Farmington Cemetery, Macksville. No visitation. Memorials may be given to the Christian Church in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, Ks 67576.
