Leonard Davis

Leonard Rex Davis, age 84, died Feb. 23, 2014 at Leisure Homestead, St. John. He was born Mar. 2, 1929 at Manter, KS, the son of Earl R. and Rosa M. (Kidwell) Davis. He was a farmer/stockman and life-long resident of rural St. John. He was in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and had past membership in the local VFW. He is survived by nieces: Karen Newman, Delta, CO; Maxine Jenson, Pasco, WA; Carol Caudill, Tacoma, WA; Darla Rarden, Sayre, OK; two nephews: Gale Taylor, Hays, KS & Thomas Arnold, Pasco, WA., as well as numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Willie, sisters Ethel Taylor, Bertha Rarden, Ruby Arnold; two nieces and two nephews. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 at Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John. Visitation will be from 1-6pm on Wednesday at the funeral Chapel.
