Larry D. Garner

Larry D. Garner, age 83, passed away on Aug. 25, 2026 at the Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt, KS. He was born on Feb. 11, 1943 in Hutchinson, KS., the son of Victor Lawrence and Pauline (Shank) Garner. Larry was a Stafford County farmer, cattleman and trucker after receiving his BA degree in Industrial Arts from Fort Hays State University. He was a member of the Antrim United Methodist Church, St. John CO-OP board, Kansas Livestock Association and Treasurer of Rose Valley Township. He married Mary Beth (Enloe) on May 16, 1987 at the Antrim United Methodist Church, rural Stafford County, KS., she survives of the home. Other survivors include three sons, James (Leslie) Garner, Auburn, KS, Tom (Sabrena) Garner, St. John, KS, Jeremiah (Tiffany) Garner, Brighton, CO; a daughter, Samantha Garner, Overland Park, KS; a brother-in-law, Bo (Dedra) Brant, Pratt, KS; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Garner.

Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 30th from 1-7PM with family present from 5-7PM at Minnis Chapel, St. John. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Monday, Aug. 31, 2026 at Minnis Chapel, St. John with Pastor Benjamin Simba presiding. Burial will follow in the Rose Valley Cemetery, rural Stafford County, KS.
