John F. Miller, 89, of St. John, Kansas, died Monday, July 30th. 2018, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. John was born November 15, 1928, on the family farm in rural St. John to John A. “J.A.” Miller and Lillie (Flora) Miller. He was a lifelong resident of St. John. He joined the U.S. Army, where he faithfully and proudly served his country. In November of 1957 he was united in marriage to Frances Mae Allison. Surviving members of the family include; his wife of 60 years Frances Mae Miller of the home; Sons, John K. Miller (Gale) of Hutchinson, Kansas, Steve Milller (Mikki) of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Wayne Miller (Vickie Jo) of St. John, Kansas; 8 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; many Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ronald Miller. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 4th, 2018, at Minnis Chapel, St. John with Pastor Parsram Venkatsammy presiding. Family inurnment will immediately follow. Memorials in memory of John may be made to Mennonite Relief or Kansas Food Bank, they can be sent in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 34, St. John, Ks 67576.
