Joe D. Curtis, age 86 passed away May 4,2024 at Kansas Veterans Home, Winfield , KS. He was born on Dec. 13, 1937 at Coldwater, KS. Survivors include his wife, Pam of the home; sons, Joey Curtis (Bev) and James Curtis (Jonita); daughter, Jessica Grigoreva (Petr); 13 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillard and Hazel Curtis; birthparents, Hobson and Cora Welch; Brothers, James Curtis, Bill Welch, Walter Griggs and Osker Welch. Cremation has occurred. Celebration of life will be at a later date. Memorials may be sent to the Caring Hands Humane Society Newton, Kansas in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS 67576.
