Janice Toot

Janice C Toot Age 77 passed away on April 22, 2020 at the University of Kansas Health System Great Bend, Kansas. She was born on Aug. 7, 1942 at Pratt, Kansas. The daughter of Ora and Dorothy (Hunley) Toot.

She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachlor of Science degree in Home Economics. She then went to work at Haskell County Extension office as the Home economics agent. She then left there later and went to work at Seward Co Extension office was there until she retired. Her hobbies she loved as sewing, cooking and quilting.  She gave several quilting classes to senior citizens. She judged at food exhibits at several county fairs and once in Stafford County.  She also judged food and Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. She loved her 4H kids and leaders.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors a sister, Rajean Ring, Stafford, KS   Brother Robert Toot, St. John Kansas.
