James Houston Brittain, age 70 passed away May 22, 2016 in Hudson, KS. He was born on March 3, 1946 in Enid, OK, the son of Claude Myron and Jesse Caroline (King) Brittain. He was a Supervisor for Koch Industries, Wichita, KS. He is survived by a son, Steve T. Brittain (Tracy), Hudson, KS; two brothers, John Brittain of Eastland, TX and Stephen Dennis Brittain of Victorville, CA; three grandchildren, Sierra Lynn Pruett (Ryan), St. John, KS, Jace and Jaron Brittain, Hudson, KS; a great grandchild, Kashton Lee Pruett, St. John, KS. He was preceded in death by both parents, a daughter, Sherrilynn Brittain and a brother, Jerry Brittain. Private family inurnment service will take place at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Bethel-Hawley Baptist Church in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS, 67576.
