Gerald Prescott
February 18, 1943 — December 24, 2014
Gerald Brent Prescott , age 71, passed away Dec. 24, 2014 at his home in Colorado Springs, CO. , He was born Feb. 18, 1943 at Alhambra, CA, the son of Virgil C. “Bub” and Mary Dean (Starke) Prescott. He was a retired school teacher and veteran of the US Air Force from 1967-73. His memberships include, First United Methodist Church and life member of the VFW Post #7519 both of St. John. He received a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Kansas.
Survivors include his brother, Ronny Prescott, St. John, KS; niece, Katy Riegel, St. John, KS, nephew, Pat Prescott, St. John, KS.
Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be at a later date in the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John.
