Francisco Balderrama Rodriguez

Francisco Balderrama Rodrigez, age 88, passed away on Sun. June, 4, 2023 at Great Bend Reg. Hospital, Great Bend, KS. He was born on October 22, 1934 in Villa Matamoros Chihuahua, MX., the son of Concepcion Balderrama Montez and Josefa Rodriguez Gutierrez. Franscisco worked as a cowboy rancher through out his lifetime. He married Maria de los Angeles Mendez Medrano on Aug. 29, 1959 in MX. His life was devoted to family, horses and roping. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Jesus Balderrama Mendez, Alfredo Balderrama Mendez, Luis Carlos Balderrama Mendez, Homero Balderrama Mendez Jose Luis Garcia; five daughters, Maria de los Angeles Balderrama Mendez, luz Emilia Herrera, Maria Socorro Chavez, Josefa Balderrama Mendez Griselda Cobb and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents; a son, Francisco Balderrama Mendez; five brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be Friday, June 9, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M at Minnis Chapel, St. John, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10:00 A.M at St. John The Apostle Church, St. John, KS, with Father Charles Atuah presiding.
