Dennis Staub
October 29, 1953 — January 9, 2015
Dennis Lee Staub , age 61, passed away Jan. 9, 2015 at his home. He is the son of Victor Lee and Phyllis Joan (Reynolds) Staub. He was a life-long resident of St. John and a Veteran of the US Army from 1972-79. He attended the Church of Christ, was past Noble Grand of the IOOF Lodge, past VFW Post Commander and was active in AWANA’s kids club. Music was his passion. He not only wrote and recorded music, he used his talents to teach many others.
Survivors include both parents , his grandmother , Laura Reynolds Wyatt, St. John, KS; two sisters , Tonya Sanders (Wade), St. John, KS, Lisa Irvin (Mike), Olsburg, KS; a brother , Kim Staub (Brenda), Olsburg, KS; many nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by a great nephew, Christopher Sanders and a great niece, Brynlin Sanders.
Memorial service will be 2:00PM Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Minnis Chapel, St. John with Pastor Carl Feril presiding. Inurnment service will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, KS. Visitation will be on Monday from 1-7pm with family present from 5-7pm. Memorials may be given to the Flint Hills Foster Teen Camps in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS 67576.
