Deborah Lancaster

Deborah Lynn Lancaster, age 66, passed away February 12, 2018 at Wichita, KS.  She was born on April 5, 1951 at Wichita, KS, the daughter of Wm Owen and Lela (Barker) Lancaster.  A life-long resident of Wichita, she graduated from East Heights High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Wichita State University.  Her memberships include, West Heights United Methodist Church, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Wichita Gem & Mineral Society, Break Through Club, Diabetes Support Group and the Sedgwick County Zoo.

Survivors include her sisters, Jane Ruyle, Tulsa, OK, Mary “Mert” Curtis (Eldean), St. John, KS; several nieces and nephews.  Memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the West Heights United Methodist Church, Wichita, KS, with Pastor Bev Baumgartner presiding. Private family inurnment service will take place at Rose Valley Cemetery, Stafford County, KS at a later date.  Memorials may be given to COMCARE of Sedgwick County or the American Heart Association in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS  67576.
