Dean Turnbough, Sr.

Warna “Dean” Turnbough, Sr., age 74, passed away on July 4, 2021 at Pratt Regional Medical Center in Pratt, KS. He was born on March 28, 1947 in Chetopa, KS., the son of Claud and Ruth Naoma (Kephart) Johnson. Dean had 21 siblings. He was a resident of Trousdale, KS before residing in Macksville, KS. On June 30, 1980 he married Lorri J. Gibson in Macksville, KS. Dean enjoyed his coffee, fishing, mowing the lawn and playing cards. He is survived by his wife; sons Quentin (Mary) McAfoos, Kansas City, KS., W Dean Jr. (Dakota) Turnbough, Macksville, KS, Chadd Michael (April) Turnbough, Macksville, KS; daughter Tacelyn Naoma Turnbough, Macksville, KS.; 11 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7 at Minnis Chapel, Macksville, KS from 1-7 with family present from 5-7. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 8th at 11:00am at the Macksville Christian Church in Macksville, KS.
