David L. West, age 72 passed away at his home in Seward, KS on Dec. 11, 2015.  He was born Dec. 9, 1943 in Great Bend, KS., the son of Thomas R. and Lenora (Porter) West.  He was the owner/operator of Midwest Truck in Seward since 1981.  He was a life-long Seward resident, St. John High School graduate, Vietnam Veteran, IOOF Lodge#539 and life member of VFW Post#7519.

He is survived by his sister Gayle Berutto, Bloomfield, New Mexico.  Memorial service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at Minnis Chapel, St.John with Pastor Wade Russell presiding.
