Cornelia Turner

Cornelia (Joyce) McBride Turner, age 88, passed away Jan. 6, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center.  She was born on Jan. 7, 1932 at Jetmore, KS, the daughter of Roy William and Cornelia Emily Allen McBride.  She was a master scheduler at Cross Manufacturing. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Salina, KS, and attended Fort Hays State College. On Sept. 23, 1950 she married Ben Walter Turner at Red Lodge, Montana, he passed away in 2010.  Survivors include two sons, Harold Roy (Jayme) Turner, Larned, KS, Kendall Royce Turner, Larned, KS; a daughter, Brenda Joyce (Gregg) Adams, Dyer, Indiana; a sister, Carol A. (Teddy) Gingrich, Larned, KS; 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Kelly Joe and Lonnie Dean Turner; a brother, Allen McBride; sisters, Jennie Pearl Walker and Janice Duncan; a great grandson, Lonnie Michael Sweeney.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at Minnis Chapel, St. John, with John McKeel presiding.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John.  Memorials may be given to the Salina Church of Christ in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O.
