Charles Eugene Parks , age 75 passed away May 1, 2015 at his home in Macksville.  He was born on Oct. 15, 1939 in rural Macksville, KS, the son of Charles and Victoria S. (Southards) Parks.  He was a retired Machinist for Cessna-Eaton Co., and a long-time resident of Macksville. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and had memberships to Macksville Christian Church, Eaton Gun Club, Central KS Gun Club and was a graduate of Fort Hays State University.  He is survived by his son, Larry Allen Parks, two grandsons, Weston and Cody Parks and a granddaughter, Victoria Llee Starks. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Connie.

Graveside service will be 2:00PM, Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Farmington Cemetery, Macksville, KS, with Pastor Jesse Watts presiding. Visitation will be from 11:00AM – 1:00PM that same day at Minnis Chapel, Macksville, Memorials may be given to the Macksville Christian Church in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, Ks  67576.
