Betty Jean (DeBusk) Seibert , age 91, passed away Jan. 26, 2015 at Parkwood Village, Pratt, KS.  She was born on Dec. 21, 1923 in rural Macksville, KS, the daughter of Percy Clive and Hazel Minerva (Cool) DeBusk.  She was a life-long resident of Macksville and a 1941 graduate of Macksville High School.  She was a retired employee of the Farmers and Merchants State Bank, Macksville, KS.  Her memberships included the Macksville Christian Church, CWF, Junior Mother’s Club, EHU, PTA and DAR.  On May 2, 1942 she married Harry L. Seibert in Macksville, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry, daughter Patricia L. “Pat” Wood and a sister, Monica Preston. Betty is survived by three daughters , Carolyn “Connie” Grizzell (Rodger), Pratt, KS, Pamela J. “Pam” Ruane (Tom), Overland Park, KS, Cynthia D. “Cindy” Keenan (Mark), Longwood, FL; a sister , Donna Suiter, Hutchinson, KS; 12 grandchildren , Michell Grizzell Welch (Kevin), Heather Grizzell Hutchison (Curtis), April Grizzell Cleveland (Chad), Timber Wood (Jerrilynn), Drift Wood Kearns (Colin), Thomas Ruane (Sarah), Jeff Ruane, Sarah Ruane Beverlin (Josh), Caleb Keenan (Tonya), Machala Keenan Beam (Jim), Kali Keenan, McKenna Keenan; 21 great grandchildren , Megan Welch Schnoebelen (Kade), Colin Welch, Jordan Welch, Kilee Hutchison, Kayla Hutchison, Kendell Hutchison, Brianna Cleveland, Jason Cleveland, Brendan Smith, Jentre Smith, Kiera Kearns, Keely Kearns, Mary Kate Ruane, Annie Ruane, Caden Keenan, Connor Keenan, Colin Keenan, James Beam, Jackson Beam, Briley Beam, Macy Keenan; 1 great great grandchild , Aspen Welch.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at the Macksville Christian Church, Macksville, KS, with Pastor Jesse Watts presiding. Burial will follow in the Farmington Cemetery, Macksville, KS.  Viewing will be from 10:30 A.M. until service time at the church. Memorials may be given to the Macksville Christian Church or the Farmington Cemetery in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS  67576.
