Betty M. Johnson

Betty M. Johnson, age 93 passed away on Aug. 24, 2023 at NMC Health, Newton, KS.  She was born on June 29, 1930 at Arnett, OK., the daughter of William Thomas and Bettie Leah (Wheeler) Pruett.  She was a homemaker.  She married Chester Olus Johnson in Forsyth, MO, he preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Gary (Cathey) Johnson, Larned, KS., Randy, Larry and Duane of St. John, KS; three daughters, Mary (Kenny) Rolo, Grandsbury, TX., Judy (John) Herder, Newton, KS., Julie (David) Briggs, Newton, KS; a sister, Lorena Kurtz, Salina, KS; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.  Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS.
